玲瓏 had been fighting with breast cancer for years. She was a very
strong woman as you know. Only a few classmates knew about her
illness. This time she passed away peacefully according to Celine, her
daughter.
Before I left for China, over the phone she sounded very well and said
she was getting better and wanted to come to China to meet us. It is
totally a shock to us that her condition changed suddenly.
We will always remember 玲瓏. In high school, she is a very pleasant,
considerate and generous person. She treated classmates very well and
invited us to go to her home in JB to have meals. She played piano and
that was very rare at that time. --- wee-yong

她走了。继 李美凤，纪任芳，韦福永， 陈敬民，李昌兴，李志兴 之后，玲瓏同学 也離開了我們。
前天(18/4)上午九时许，惠光 来电告知在当天早上接到她哥哥越洋的电话，传达了 玲瓏 过世的消息。在我的印象中，40年前的玲瓏是温室中的小花，且弹得一手好钢琴。但在40年后於2007年12月23日在 章财、爱芳的家中同学相聚时所见到的 玲瓏 却是商场上的高手。生活的磨练与自强会让我们在逐年的真正成长的规律，一点也不假。
